Program
Kids Junction's morning program is structured so students can approach the morning in their own style. Quiet activities as well as active games are available to the children.

Breakfast
Morning snack is not provided, but students are given the opportunity to participate in the morning breakfast program at their school (fees subject to free and reduced rates). Children may also bring a sack breakfast to eat during the breakfast program time.

Program
The after school program follows a schedule which includes free time (which may be used for homework), a light snack, and planned daily activities. Each after school site will have a monthly calendar and newsletter that keeps parents informed of daily activities and upcoming events. Be sure to pick up one each month.

 School Year Full Days

Dates Open:
Parent Conferences, Teacher Professional Conferences (MEA), Teacher workshop days, Winter holiday break and Spring break unless otherwise specified.

Dates Closed:
Thanksgiving and Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July Fourth, and Labor Day.

Registration
Required one week prior to the day. Parents must give 24 hours notice (unless otherwise noted) if their child is going to be absent on a non-school day for which she/he is already registered or pay the full child care cost. We must have ten children signed up to be open. Children not signed up one week in advance will be taken on a space available basis.

Lunch
Children need to bring a bag lunch and beverage unless otherwise directed. Do not send food that needs to be refrigerated or microwaved. Lunches must be labeled with child's name. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. No soda pop allowed.

Field Trips
Field Trips are frequently planned.  Watch for information on monthly calendar and on site.
