Sunnyside Fall Celebration - October 31st
This day will be celebrated as a costume type day with fun and safe activities for the kids at school.  We encourage the children to develop costumes that promote happiness and positive experiences and to avoid costumes that encourage violence or promote violence.

Costumes will be put on shortly before the parade.  No make-up or colored hair spray will be allowed.

The parade will start at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple St. entrance; we will walk to and turn left on Southwood Avenue, then walk up to the Southwood entrance and turn left walking down the sidewalk to the front of Sunnyside School.

In case of rain, the parade will be cancelled.

Thank you for your cooperation in making this a safe and fun activity for the students.  We hope to see you at the parade.

School is in session all day.

Lions Club Donates Books!
The Lions Club of Red Wing, along with ULC’s Men in Mission and other friends, donated $5000 to the Sunnyside and Burnside school libraries in memory of long time Lion member, Dr. Noel Evans.  Over 300 books were purchased.  Because of Dr. Evans’ interest in and support of local athletics, many books about sports were added to both collections.  Additionally, to honor his upstanding character and commitment to others’ needs, many titles about character education were purchased.  Thank you Lions Club!
