The School Board held its annual Truth-in-Taxation hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, in high school room J110. Required by state law, the hearing included discussion of the district’s 2024 property tax levy payable in 2025. The board will approve the levy at the Dec. 16 meeting.
- The meeting included two other annual matters:
- The Comprehensive, Achievement and Civic Readiness Report (formerly the World’s Best Workforce)
- Evaluation of the superintendent. This was conducted in closed session. A summary report will be made public at the Dec. 16 meeting.
A 5 p.m. workshop will precede the regular meeting and be held in room J108. The workshop agenda includes a finance update and continuing discussion on public comment at meetings.
