The Red Wing School Board elected officers during the 2025 organization meeting Monday, Jan. 6. Ryan Riester will lead the board as chair. The other officers are Jeremy Koenig, vice chair; Jennifer Tift, clerk; and Kayla Anderson, treasurer. The four, who all were on the 2024 General Election ballot, also took the oath of office. Riester, Koenig, and Anderson are starting their first terms. Tift was re-elected to a second term. Terms are for four years.
The board also voted to change its meeting schedule. For 2025, the board will hold a business meeting the second Monday of the month and a workshop the fourth Monday of the month. Both the meeting and the workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. and be held in Red Wing High School room J110 and J108.
The board will next meet for a business meeting at Jan. 27.
