Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a general term that refers to positive behavioral interventions and systems used to achieve important behavior changes. The most effective tool teachers have to handle problem behavior is to prevent it from occurring in the first place.  PBIS strategies are critical to providing all young people with the best learning environment.

Red Wing High School is a PBIS School, focusing on Winger Pride: Respectful, Responsible and Proud.

Our current building was built in 1995.

Prior to that Red Wing High School was housed in Old Central High, which has now been converted into beautiful condos.  The Old Central building just celebrated it's 102nd birthday!  Here's a story with some history on the building.

Notable Artwork: As students, staff and guests enter the main doors of our building, they are greeted to the beautiful site and sounds of Goodhue County sculptor Jeff Barber's bronze-cast eagle statue.   The artwork, titled "Departure," soars over the locker bay, framed by tall windows that give views to the surrounding landscapes and accompanied by the sounds of the fountain below.
