The best protection you can get and give is a flu shot.

Homeland Health is collaborating with Goodhue County Health and Human Services to provide flu clinics in Goodhue County. Homeland Health Specialists, Inc., is a health services company that provides vaccinations, health screenings, and worksite programs in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. The flu clinics will be located in school buildings and vaccinations will be available for anyone ages 6 months and up.

Homeland Health can bill these insurance plans: Medicare, Medica, BCBS, HealthPartners, Preferred One, UCare, America’s PPO, Prime West, South County Health Alliance and Medicaid. Bring your insurance or Medicare cards. Children without health insurance or whose vaccinations are not covered, can receive flu vaccine for $10 under the Minnesota Vaccines for Children Program.

 Cost if Uninsured: Over 18 years: Injection $25 FluMist $35  
Cost if Uninsured: 6 months through 18 years: $10
