The Safe Routes to School Bike Fleet will be the Student & School Showcase feature when the Red Wing School Board meets at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in Red Wing High School room J110. This is a regular business session under the board’s new meeting schedule.
Burnside Elementary School Principal Jen Grove, teacher Mollie Wallerich and public health educator Sarah Dawson will explain how the bike fleet came about and how students are benefiting. The bikes are part of the school’s physical education curriculum.
The meeting agenda also includes includes:
- Policy review updates for public notices, field trips and more.
- Committee assignments.

The board will hold its first workshop session of the year on Monday, Feb. 10. The board will hold workshops the second Monday of each month and business meetings the fourth Monday of each month going forward.
