Seleski wins assistant principal honor

Bobbi Seleski is among the best school administrators in the region as recognized by the Southeast Division of the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals.

MASSP on Wednesday, March 12, announced its winners of the 2025 High School and Middle School Principals and Assistant Principals of the Year Awards. These prestigious recognitions honor outstanding leadership in education, celebrating principals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, innovation, a commitment to student success, and service to the organization.

The award highlights principals who have gone above and beyond for students, families, and staff. Their contributions to the educational community have left a lasting impact on their schools. This year’s winners are:


Richard Swanson — Principal of Byron Middle School, Byron.
Bobbi Seleski — Assistant Principal of Twin Bluff Middle School, Red Wing.
Rico Bohren — Assistant Principal of Northfield School, Northfield.
Trent Langemo — Principal of Kasson-Mantorville High School, Kasson.


The winners were nominated by their peers based on their leadership skills, innovation in teaching, and ability to create a positive school culture. Minnesota’s eight division winners will also be considered for the State-wide recognition.

The Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals is a professional educational association of over 1,300 active and retired secondary and middle school administrators who seek to grow professionally and to effect positive change in our world today.
